Hi

My name is Joey and I have Albinism. People at school take the mick out of me because I cannot see properly. When I first started secondary school I had eggs and mud thrown at me because I could not see and look quite different. I am so far into school with my sats coming up and I recently got statemented and into the V.I Base but I still get my work enlarged but it would be better if I did not have to go out of my lesson and go and get it enlarged because I am missing impotant information.  I also now get transport to and from school as I was recently attacked by some kids from a rival school.

I am proud to be an Albino, some people will be upset with this word,but I use it.  My mum is a diabetic not a person with diabetes.  Just because some people don't like the word it doesn't mean it should not be used.

Hobbies

My hobbies are drumming Karate and squash and guitar only because I cant see does not mean I cannot do anything that other children can do. I am doing well in my hobbies.

About me

I am a bit of a musician and I play many differant instruments which are guitar, deen black striperums, piano and bass guitar. As well as playing music I also do an outside school club called karate. I am Now  a green belt black stripe and I passed my grading with a sucess. Now that I am a green belt black stripe I have a reconmendation to the black belt excellence club. Because I am in year 10 I now start my GCSE's e.g. coursework and exams. In music I have to do a performance for a gcse exam.

My mum is brilliant looking after me she is always there for me sorting me out when I get into trouble
